Those who enjoy walking and discover step by step nature, will find some beautiful trails in Villasimius, both along the coast overlooking it, and in the inland, on the hills surrounding the town.

One of the most accessible walks is certainly the climb to the Tower of Cala Giunco (which can also be done on horseback) from which you can admire one of the most beautiful views of Sardinia.

By following our advice you can also climb on switchbacks that lead to Conca Arrubia to see all our territory from the top or follow the paths up to Minniminni Forest overlooking the entire Southeast coast.

For mountain lovers, not far from Villasimius lies the Natural Park of the ‘Sette Fratelli’: a natural oasis with forests, woods, streams, cliffs, nuraghes; the right place to learn about the fauna and flora more typical of Sardinia surrounded by breathtaking views.

Spring and autumn are ideal seasons for trekking in the hills surrounding the village, while in the summer months, the region far from the beaches is drier and slightly sticky.
